Pete Perrington.

Senior Site Manager.

Pete was the very first recruit to Team Creative, isn’t he lucky!

He’s a brilliant site manager and has most recently been managing a number of critical NHS projects for Weston Hospital. Having spent over thirty years in construction and starting out as a carpenter, Pete naturally progressed into site and project management roles and has amassed a wealth of experience from different sectors across the industry.

Outside of work you can often find Pete paddling his canoe, enjoying long walks or tending to his Honeybees, from which Pete is currently supplying Team Creative with his very own Somerset honey!

A regular participant in our secret Curry club (ssshhh!), as well as being a very busy bee (sorry but we couldn’t miss a pun!) he loves nothing more than spending time with his family.

Ian Haughton.

Senior Site Manager.

Ian is a site manager and a very good one at that.

After leaving school, Ian headed straight into construction where he spent many years working within different trades, from road surfacing to decorating and everything in between, gaining priceless experience along the way. In that time, Ian has amassed over 20 years’ experience as a site manager and thrives in the day to day challenges that his role brings.

Ian has two sons and loves watching them play football. A Bristol City season ticket holder, you can normally find him in the south stand on a Saturday afternoon! Family holidays, walking the dog and a few cheeky pints now and again are also a must for Ian.

Aleksandrs Cernisovs.

Site Manager.

Alex for short, is the newest member of Team Creative.

With an exceptional carpentry background spanning over 16 years, Alex can also turn his hand to many other finishing trades, so he is very versatile on site. With a keen eye for detail, Alex has naturally moved into site management and we couldn’t be happier with our newest recruit.

Outside of work Alex has just purchased his first family home so when he’s not working on that or spending time with his young family, he likes fishing and is a bit of a petrol head when he’s allowed!

Neil Cock.

Working Foreman.

Neil is one of our site Foreman having recently gained his SMSTS.

A qualified carpenter, dry liner and ceiling fixer with 23 years’ experience, Neil is our expert in all things interiors and is really coming into his own in the refurbishment sector.

When not working, Neil likes the odd game of golf, fishing and getting away with his wife and children in his Caravan along the beautiful British coastline or the south of France.

Danielle Harding.

Accounts Administrator.

Danny is our brilliant accounts administrator and one of the newest members of our team.

AAT Level 3 qualified, Danny has spent the last four years as an accountant in legal insurance and has joined Team Creative to further strengthen our commercial team. Tasked with making sure the accounts office wheels continue to turn, Danny has managed to keep everyone in order and has ensured that things have run smoothly behind the scenes.

She’s a new mum to baby boy, Franklin who certainly keeps her busy. Danny also loves to bake (which we’re happy to sample), socialise with friends at the local pub and enjoys days out with Franklin and her other half, who are due to get married in October this year!

Jacob Watson.

Contracts Manager.

Beginning my career as an apprentice, I’ve ascended through the ranks with construction firms in the southwest culminating in my current position as Contracts Manager at Creative Construction which I am enjoying the most yet. Outside of work, I maintain an active lifestyle, holding a black belt in karate and playing football for Bitton AFC. I also dedicate time to practicing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. But amidst all the chaos, nothing beats get aways with my very understanding wife, Kelsey, and our four-legged comedian, Onyx the Vizsla.

Kim Richings.

Site Manager.
After many years working for furniture makers and construction companies in various roles, I am now leading projects as Site Manager at Creative Construction. I have worked at Creative for the past couple of years on a variety of projects.

Outside work, I’ve always enjoyed field hockey, windsurfing, and skiing, though recent knee surgery has me awaiting opportunities to return to these passions. I am still able to appreciate a good game of rugby and a Guiness though!

Tom Payne.

Quantity Surveyor.

I’ve worked in the construction industry since September 2012 and have been at Creative since April 2022, having spent most of my working life as a Quantity Surveyor for a regional main contractor.

Outside of work, I spend most of my time with my wife, Mollie and baby son, Wesley. You will also find me every other Saturday afternoon and Tuesday night at Ashton Gate watching the famously unsuccessful Bristol City.

Mathew King.

Site Manager.
I joined Creative Construction in September 2023 and have enjoyed working within this tight knitted group.

I started out as a Carpenter and progressed into Site Management, having completed projects ranging from small reroofs to larger 5 storey office refurbishments in the centre of Bristol. I am eager to expand my knowledge and experience within the construction industry.

When not at work I enjoy spending time with my wife and daughter going for walks, I am also an avid gamer and huge rugby fan supporting Bath rugby.

Sam North.

Site Manager.

Sam’s previous working experiences are so vast you would think he has a problem deciding what he wants to do. From car mechanics, to bet shop supervisor, to becoming a silicone sealant applicator. Sam has gained his SMSTS qualification while working at Creative and has risen through the ranks to become a working foreman/ site supervisor. He has previous experience in plumbing, managing and customer service and started working on building sites from age 17. Now he is 3 years deep in creative construction and enjoying the pace and variety of daily works.

In his own time Sam likes being outdoors, competing in sports, gaming, food, coffee and high tempo music. If he’s not playing football, you could catch him with close friends or family eating all of the food within reaching distance.

Mark Popovs.

Site Foreman.
Originally hailing from Latvia, I ventured into the world of construction eight years back, starting with general building and carpentry. Thanks to the guidance of Creative Construction, I’ve transitioned into a working foreman, a role I’ve embraced recently in my time at creative. Beyond the construction site, you’ll find me enjoying leisurely strolls in southwest England and Wales with my family.

Gary Coombs.

Site Manager.
I have worked in the building trade since leaving school as an apprentice bricklayer.
Then moved to working in drylining and working in shop fitting and rip outs, leading on to site management.
I enjoy spending time with my family and going on holidays. my hobbies are everything football related and golf when I get the time!

Ben Whatley.

Commercial Director.

He’s one of our founders, what one might call the ‘bean counter’, the one responsible for all the commercial and financial stuff.

Ben is highly qualified, experienced and brilliant at what he does (of course we would say that!) Graduating from the University of the West of England with a first class honours degree in Quantity Surveying and Commercial Business Management, Ben has spent the last 15 Years working for regional and national contractors and has gained a wealth of experience throughout that journey both in construction and housing.

A fully qualified and experienced Hot Air Balloon pilot, and part of the Bristol Balloon Fiesta flying committee. A family man, avid gin lover and a Rugby fanatic who still occasionally gets his boots back on to play 80 minutes (well more like 20 these days!).

Marc Andrew.

Construction Director.

Our operational guru, Marc, completes our leadership trio.

With over 20 years’ experience in construction – 15 as a general builder and the remaining within management roles, Marc leads on all operational aspects of the business and is great with our customers. After leaving school Marc completed a plastering apprenticeship at the City of Bristol college and now 20 years later, he’s back at the same college completing his CIOB with Creative!

Marc has two children and a miniature schnauzer called Rolo! He’s a season ticket holder for Bristol City and a keen supporter of Bristol Bears. On most weekends you can also find him supporting the mighty Shire Colts as well (his sons’ team)!

Carl Clifford.

Pre-Construction Director.

Carl – he’s one of our founders, our estimating and pre-construction specialist and a dab hand with numbers, who works to ensure best value for everyone involved in our projects and at winning the work to keep our wheels turning!

His career in construction has been spent working for both major Regional and National contractors such as Midas, Rok and Galliford Try, oh and his Dad, (apparently his toughest employer!).

He’s pretty good at accents and allegedly can drink his own bodyweight in tea in a day. Carl is dad to three lovely children who keep him on his toes, with weekends spent helping his wife Kellie try to wear out the kids, enjoying the outdoors and getting upset about the damage that their new puppy Rusty is inflicting on their house!
