BRI – Radiology Refurbishment

The works within the Radiology department were completed over 2 phases, firstly the Administration areas, followed by the Staff Changing, Showering & WC facilities.

Following the completion of strip out works in both phases, significant fire integrity improvement works were required to reinstate failed separation walls, smoke dampers to ventilation systems, and the installation of collars and intumescent to the remaining penetrations.

As part of the reinstatement and refurbishment works, the Administration areas were installed with new internal Door Sets, Suspended Ceilings, Vinyl floor finishes, new Kitchenette to the staff breakout space and general M&E upgrade works.

The Staff Changing, Showering & WC facilities areas were installed with new internal Doorsets, MF Ceilings, Hygienic Wall Finishes, Coved Vinyl Flooring, New Sanitary Ware installations and Changing Room Furniture install.

These works took place during the global pandemic of Covid-19 and therefore we had to complete the works whilst following strict social distancing guidelines. All mitigation measures were implemented and the project was still completed on time.
