St Andrews House Safety & Training Centre, Bristol Port
Project Summary.
Client – Bristol Port Company
Location – St Andrews House, Avonmouth Docks
Value – £141k
Programme – 8 Weeks
As part of the Bristol port Company’s drive to update their safety and training facilities, we were appointed to undertake the full refurbishment of this space, containing meeting rooms, training spaces, medical rooms, circulation areas and the main entrance foyer of St Andrews House.
Following the remediation of asbestos materials within the site area, we undertook the full strip out of remaining finishes and internal walls to bring the area back to a shell condition.
Our in house labour team then completed the installation of new internal walls, suspended and MF ceiling structures, first fix and second fix carpentry installations and the completion of the decoration package of works, allowing us to maintain our fast paced programme for completion during the ongoing Covid-19 restrictions.
Our supply chain supported us on the project, undertaking the small power and lighting installations, floor finishes throughout, along with difficult undertaking for the completion of internal floor slab level reduction and screeding works to provide a +/- 3mm level floor area, to enable the sliding folding wall requirements.
