The works to Tower Wharf consisted of the strip out of the recently vacated first floor offices, meeting room spaces, and breakout/kitchenette area to reinstate the open plan layout the landlord requires to market and let the space.
As Tower Wharf is an occupied multi let office space within the central business district of Bristol, due consideration was given at all times throughout our work to our neighbours within the building, ensuring that any disruption was minimised and sufficient notice give to any such disruptions that could not be mitigated. Along with the internal building considerations, our site team also needed to maintain a firm control on any effects our work may have had on the immediate areas surrounding the site externally, as space around the entrances and car park areas were consistently busy, with congested road and pavement routes.
Works to refurbish the office area were relatively straightforward, with the strip out works completed using waiting loads, due to the vehicle restrictions externally, general M&E alteration works with the reinstatement of the landlords HVAC system, new lighting installations throughout, and our in house team completed the new kitchenette installation, raised access flooring works, new internal door installs and full suspended ceiling replacement. Finally decorations completed throughout with new carpet and vinyl floor finishes to complete the landlords specification fit out works.
