Across multiple units at Harnham Trading Estate, our instructed works required us to replace the existing roof coverings and rooflights, which had reached end of life condition to all units. In tandem with these high level works, Creative were further instructed by JLL to complete M&E upgrades, elevational treatments, window, pedestrian door & roller shutter replacements, internal strip out and refurbishment works to welfare areas, epoxy floor coatings to warehouse areas and general redecorations throughout.

With Harnham remaining an active and busy trade park throughout the duration of the programmed works, management of the logistics in close proximity to the operational tenanted units, placed the careful management of all site movements as being critical to the overall success of the project. Through our dedicated site manager, the phased approach to the completion of works to the individual units were completed with minimal disruption to the wider workings of the estate, made even more difficult as we completed the works to Unit 9, which remained an occupied building for the duration of our works.

Programme risks raised by industry wide material shortages for roof cladding were carefully managed during our lead in period, through the sourcing of alternate products, and overall we delivered this multi unit refurbishment back to the client team on programme and within budget.
