Project Summary.
Client – Swindon Borough Council
Location – Swindon City Centre
Value – £385k
Programme – 21 Weeks
The works consist of the strip out of the existing ground floor offices, reception spaces, plus WC and core areas across the Ground to Fourth floors to provide a more modern and up to date office, meeting and welfare environments for use by Swindon Borough Council staff and their One Stop Shop customers.
Works to the Ground floor area entail the remodelling of the existing entrances and general layout, with newly installed automated entrance doors and glazed partition systems installed to form new office, meeting and interview spaces.
Both the Staff and Public WC areas receive a full refurbishment, inclusive of new wall and floor finishes throughout, new washroom systems and sanitaryware, with all areas provided with new suspended ceilings, decorations and comfort cooling air conditioning. As part of our ability to in house deliver finishes, all partition, glazed demountable partitions, suspended ceilings, carpentry and decorations were delivered by our own direct labour force. New installations of lighting were installed to facilitate the revised office, meeting and interview space layouts, including upgraded PIR controls.
To the upper floors of the building through First floor to Fourth, a full strip out and alteration has been undertaken to the WC and Communal areas, followed by the installation of new washroom systems, sanitaryware, floor finishes, hygienic wall cladding, suspended ceilings and lighting generally.
