Unit 19 Harnham Trading Estate had been causing the landlord issues with water ingress from the existing roof covering and rooflights which had reached an end of life condition.
As part of our instructed works, we were asked to undertake the removal of the existing asbestos sheet roof covering and dispose of this off site. In replacement we installed a new built up insulated powder coated steel roof system, coupled with both replacement and lining works to the existing rainwater installations. Full replacement of the existing rooflights were completed in line with the new roof covering works.
As the existing tenant remained in occupation of the building for the duration of our works, due to them not being able to vacate the unit, we facilitated the completion of the roof replacement works by maintaining segregated access routes for the building users and provided protection to their internal office areas which remained in use throughout until completion.
